Corgi Bedford CA Van 403 422

Time for a change. This scrappy looking van has a facelift. The paint, originally blue was over-painted black and badly chipped and scratched, will be changed. The Daily Express Blue, Corgi 403, will become a Corgi Logo Yellow, the 422.

Tires, hardened and cracked will be renewed, paint stripped, windows cleaned, and wheels polished. Bodywork dings filled, primed and painted....

Body yellow, roof green, logo's added, trim painted, finished, well nearly.

The logo's are printed on glossy paper and not transparent film, but it look OK. Paint detail looks better on the actual model, the images show the slight misalignment of the paint. But it is much better than the dilapidated state as purchased.

An interesting point about the Corgi Bedford CA Van is that they made both the early model, split screen and the later which also had a different grille. I am not sure if there was ever a Corgi Logo Van with a split screen.
